An old friend, James and I were in a business dinner party. Our conversation leads to the online business. He lamented that inspite of following the many advice of the gurus, the results are discouraging.

He is passionate about his home based business, was involved in many business forums and read books on Internet business. However, there were no customers signing-up in his website.

He wonders whether he is missing something. His self-confident was waning to its lowest ebb.

I then remembered an Internet guru who wrote in his blog. He wrote that there are a number of reasons that we fail to see the results. In fact, there are 3 kinds of INTANGIBLES which we may not realized that are absolutely necessary. He specifically stated that these things must come from within us.

What are these 3 kinds of intangibles?

Intangible #1
We must have a strong conviction..."WHY"

WHY must we possess a flourishing home based business? What propells you? What is that you CANNOT have in your life any longer or what is it that you certainly MUST HAVE now?

My WHY...I will not go on working 12 hours a day any longer and want to be a part of my child's growing up years. I WANT to be free to control my life and money using the Internet. I can carry out my home business no matter where I am and don't have to be a servant to anybody's time but my own.

These are my essential...WHY. I will definitely feel the missing gap of my child's growing years and the wonderful freedom of achieving success in a home based business that would provide for me.

You must be CONVINCED that it is possible.

If you are unconvinced that it is POSSIBLE for you to have a successful home based business or make a living from home, you won't. Period!!

In my opinion, the economic recession is pushing more and more people to consider self-employment. Starting an online business is a very low-risk way to put your toe in the entrepreneurial pond because the start up costs are minimal, the overhead is low, and the returns can be high.

As a matter of fact, people are reading success stories that million of people are earning money working from home. JUST LIKE YOU ARE READING HERE!! YOU must be ready to "TAKE THE JUMP"

Get READY, FIRE and AIM...This is the sequence you MUST adopt to succeed with a home based business.

But, this is not normal for most people, who aim before firing. The fact that home based business success is a moving target...the only thing constant is CHANGE. You have to stop examining the business and just jump into it.

You have to be "IN THE ARENA" to really understand and profit from it. The truth is, this is a business where you can actually be LEARNING while you are still EARNING.

The lesson here is that you probably will never really be READY to start a home based business. You just have to start one. It's like when you are thrown into a lake and you are a non-swimmer...what will happen is, you will paddle vigourously to remain afloat and eventually get the stroke right to swim ashore. This is what I meant, "TAKING THE JUMP"!!
